Students will typically be involved doing research based in an agricultural environment .
Students will cover the learning outcomes as described by the EU expert working group.
This is an online module which you can do in your own time.

The course will cover
- Basic and applied biology of common domestic animals
- Animal care, health and management: how these affect the quality of research
- Pain recognition and analgesia in large animals

Severity classification, minimally invasive procedures, restraint , local and general anaesthesia
- Euthanasia
